Obedience is a Decision

This season is going to be tough for people who have trouble with obedience. Obedience is linked to understanding, hearing and listening. A lot of people want to do what they want to do. At this time you can’t. You can cheat death until you die. You don’t get one chance. YOU get none. The irony of obedience is that everyone qualifies and it doesn’t care what you didn’t hear, understand or your specific case. God gives us discernment for a reason. We get a choice that’s not based on a final survival decision. Your obedience is the ways and means that will keep you safe. Make a decision that you must live with. As a parent your decision is not just for you, it’s for you children to watch you adhere too. If you’re homeschooling now would be a great time for you to learn something new as well. They are watching you learn how the world is changing. God does not repeat instructions. He gives you examples and tools to help you get through the times to come. We call them easy or tough. God doesn’t asks for your obedience to deliver you where he can use you to serve in his will. He tells you and you choose. Decide this time. Amen
